The traveller’s growing expectations about cleaning and hygiene implies that trains upholstered seats are regularly and efficiently cleaned.

Apart from removing the dust, it is necessary to use specific professional machines which allow to remove all the accumulated dirt, making seats come back as perfectly clean.

Santoemma proposes some models specially developed for this application.

These machines are robust and suitable for heavy use. Small models are easy to transport in train corridors. Larger models allow greater working autonomy and the machine is left on the railway platform. In this case it is operated on the wagons thanks to special hoses, up to 30m long.

Thanks to the “high waterlift” and the "dense foam extraction” cleaning technology, seats are almost dry after washing. Normally, during the time needed to clean a whole wagon, the first seats are already dry and re-usable.
