Professional cleaning and sanitizing of textiles and mattresses
Santoemma UPHOLSTERY Cleaning program includes machines and chemicals developed for the professional cleaning of any type of padded textiles and mattresses. Different cleaning systems are available in order to comply with the specific application needs and the operators' cleaning preferences.
A solution of water and chemical is sprayed into the fibers of the textile and immediately sucked. The solution and the dirt removed are recovered in the machine body.
In upholstery and mattresses cleaning, the cleaning result can be improved by using a hotsolution, instead of room temperature solution.
Specific tests show that cleaning carpet with just 10°C more can give the same result as cleaning twice.
Santoemma machines can be equipped with an instant heater that allows you to immediately heat the water used for cleaning. In this way a much better result is obtained in cleaning upholstery and mattresses, even very dirty.
The maximum temperature is limited to 65-70°C in order not to damage the textiles. These temperatures allow you to effectively clean and sanitize upholstery and mattresses.
The use of hot water also reduces the dryingtime and is appreciated for working in winter and in cold areas.
A special dense foam is sprayed on the textiles and is sucked after some seconds.
Dense foam does not penetrate deep inside the textiles, therefore allowing a short drying time: seats can be dry in 20 minutes!
In order to obtain the special dense foam, the chemical solution is mixed with compressed air, obtained by a dedicated air compressor. The quality of foam is therefore much better than the "liquid foam" of machines without compressor.
Thanks to its optimal density, dense foam penetrates for few millimeters in the superficial layer where the dirt lies. It does not remain only on the surface, as it happens with "dry foam". Therefore, dense foam allows an excellent cleaning result, even without any mechanical brushing action.
The manual tool is very light and compact, for cleaning many seats or mattresses quickly and without effort. Its shape also allows you to reach any corner.
By using a specific
hand gun, it is also possible to quickly sanitize small carpeted areas, rugs,
upholstery, curtains and vehicle interiors. With the Gun for
Turbo-Nebulization@50micron it is possible to spray a mix of air and very small
liquid particles, with a diameter of only 50 microns. Their small size
allows the particles to float in the air jet and easily reach every point of
the environment. By directing the jet properly, small environments can be
saturated quickly and evenly. With 50 micron nebulization the particles wet
the surfaces very little, leaving them only slightly moist for a few
minutes.
Moreover, by adding
a special Santoemma device, it is possible to deliver a sanitizing chemical in
the form of 7 micron dry fog. The dry fog is delivered for a time
sufficient to completely fill the rooms and then left to act for a few minutes
in order to exercise its sanitizing action. This type of dry fog allows you to
reach every point, without wetting the surfaces. The machine can be left
inside the room to be treated. Alternatively, you can leave the machine out of
the room, placing inside only the chemical tank. This is the ideal solution for
quickly sanitize areas of different kind, including hotel rooms, offices,
buses, trains.
This system, patented by Santoemma, uses hot dense foamwhich ensures excellent cleaning results even in case of extremely dirty upholstery and an even shorter drying time. The hot foam is immediately available as the machine is switched on.

When cleaning upholstery, the drying time after vacuuming strongly depends on the vacuum strength. Santoemma machines are equipped with a specially designed high waterlift vacuum system, allowing to get up to 50% higher waterlift than standard extractors. This results in an extremely shorter drying time than with normal machines.
Not only the drying time is reduced, but also a better cleaning result is obtained, since the extra solution extracted from fibers contains extra dirt removed from the surface. The same residual dirty solution, if left evaporating on textiles as it normally happens, would leave the surface not so clean as with high waterlift machines.
